Filling
- Sliced the banana shallots
- Place into an oiled pan, allow to shallots to sweat until soft.
- Remove from the heat and sieve to remove any further liquid.
- Leave to cool before filling the pastry.
- To Assemble
- Roll out pastry.
- Cut into a 10cm strips and place your filling down the centre of the strip.
- Egg wash one side.
- Fold over the pastry to cover the filling and crimp together.
- Egg wash the pastry.
- Freeze for at least 1 hour and the cut into desired number of pieces.
- Place in the oven for 25mins at 200degrees or until golden brown.
